Faith Journey
11. The family we choose (S2, E11)
What if your smile, talent, or helping hand is exactly what someone needs? In this Faith Journey episode, kids discover that everyone has a place in God’s family. Through Apollo 11, LEGO pieces, Nehemiah’s wall, and Maya’s food-bank adventure, they learn how unity makes us stronger. They’ll also create string art showing how separate pieces become beautiful when connected. Kids will be encouraged to serve joyfully, welcome others, and remember: with God, they truly belong.
What does it mean to truly belong? In this uplifting Faith Journey episode, kids discover that God created us to grow stronger together. Through the Apollo 11 mission, the human body, LEGO pieces, and the story of Nehemiah rebuilding Jerusalem’s wall, children learn that every person has an important role. The church is not simply a building—it is a worldwide family of people who love Jesus, support one another, and work together in unity. Through Maya’s heartwarming food-bank adventure, young viewers see how even a smile, kind word, creative idea, or helping hand can make a meaningful difference. This episode encourages children who feel small, shy, or left out to remember that God sees them, knows their name, and has given them a special place in His family. Kids will be inspired to use their unique gifts, welcome others, serve joyfully, and confidently believe that they matter and truly belong.
