Prayer of Consummation

Everything’s a mess. The world is full of chaos. Division and destruction run the show.  Or so it seems. Is that all there is to it? Is there perhaps something else at play, a different trajectory than what meets the eye? We’re studying the Lord’s Prayer line by line. We’re discovering what Jesus taught about God, us, and reality itself. In this episode, we’re looking closely at “For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.” What does this mean for us today? Join us to find out!

You wake up in the morning, and you get hit by the news. It’s never good. Lines are drawn, opinions are entrenched. Life is getting more expensive, more complicated, more uncertain.  Everything feels poised on the brink.

What if there’s another way to look at things? What if hope is real and peace is guaranteed? What if everything is going to be ok—and much, much more than ok?

Are you open to seeing it that way?

This is what Jesus taught in His short but powerful Lord’s Prayer:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

There is a different way to see things. And it’s so much better than anything you could have imagined.

In this series, we’re on a journey through the Lord’s Prayer. We’re learning truth about God, belonging, meaning, purpose…and reality.

In this episode, we unpack what Jesus meant when He said, “For Yours in the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.” There is a powerful truth in this line, one that can change our lives today. Want to know what it is? Join us to find out!
